High speed ferry to link Balaerics.... A high-speed ferry service has launched between the Balearics and the Spanish mainland. The Spanish ferry company,Trasmediterranea is operating the new high-speed catamaran service between Palma, Ibiza and Valencia.The ferry carries up to 900 passengers and 265 cars, and links Palma to Ibiza in two hours, and Ibiza and Valencia in three hours. Passengers pay 56 euros each and 65 euros to take a car, but get a free car pass if they purchase two tickets in club class, or four in economy. But your patience and flexibility are very important to achieving your destination without flying. On your way overland and across the seas you will have some very memorable and exotic ports of call. For a real experience you can travel by train from London to Hong Kong and catch a boat to New Zealand. The first part is a train to Moscow. Eurostar from London to Brussells. Brussels to Cologne. Russian Railways daily service leaving Cologne at 19.28 arriving in Moscow one and a half days later at 09.10 (sleeper-only service, restaurant car provided).
